First Response Emergency Care (RQF)

Take the Next Step in Your
Pre-Hospital Care Journey
ABOUT FREC 4
FREC 4 is a regulated Level 4 Pre-Hospital Care Qualification designed for individuals who have already developed a foundation in First Response Emergency Care and are looking to advance their knowledge, practical skills and clinical confidence.
Delivered over five days at the APLUS Medical Services & Training facility in Bolsover, Chesterfield, the course combines theory, practical skills and realistic scenario-based training. The qualification builds on the skills developed through FREC 3, introducing a broader range of medical and traumatic emergencies, alongside more advanced patient assessment, clinical decision-making and patient management skills.
It is particularly suited to individuals looking to progress within the Pre-Hospital Care sector, including those working towards roles in Ambulance Services, Event Medical Provision, Emergency Response, and other healthcare environments.
