What is Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPTS)?

Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services (NEPTS) provide safe, planned transport for patients who need assistance travelling to or from healthcare appointments but do not require an emergency ambulance. APLUS Medical Services offers professional, CQC-registered patient transport for hospitals, care homes, healthcare providers and private patients.

Who Can Book Your Patient Transport Service?

Our services are available to NHS organisations, private hospitals, GP surgeries, care homes, local authorities, insurance and case management companies, as well as private patients and family members arranging transport for a loved one. We can provide both one-off journeys and ongoing contracted transport services.

Can You Provide Hospital Discharge Transport?

Yes. We work closely with hospital discharge teams to provide safe and reliable transport from hospital to home, care homes, community hospitals or other healthcare settings. Subject to availability, we can also support same-day and short-notice hospital discharges.

Do You Transport Wheelchair & Stretcher Patients?

Yes. Our experienced ambulance crews are trained to support wheelchair users, stretcher patients and individuals who require assistance from their home to the vehicle and from the vehicle to their destination. We ensure the appropriate vehicle, equipment and level of support is provided for every journey.

Do You Provide Regular Dialysis and Oncology Transport?

Yes. We provide dependable transport for patients attending regular dialysis, oncology treatment, outpatient clinics and other scheduled healthcare appointments. Our service is designed to help patients attend appointments safely, comfortably and on time.
